What Are Affiliate Links?

Some links on The Moxie Edit are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, The Moxie Edit may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use an affiliate link or navigate to the retailer directly.

Does This Affect What We Recommend?

No. Affiliate relationships do not influence editorial verdicts. Products, ingredients, and treatments are assessed on their evidence base and personal experience — not on whether a commission exists. The Moxie Edit does not accept payment to change a verdict label or editorial opinion.

If a product has an affiliate link, it is because we believe it is worth linking to — not the other way around.

Brand Partnerships and Sponsored Content

Occasionally, The Moxie Edit partners with brands for featured placements, sponsored spotlights, or newsletter sponsorships. Any such content is clearly labelled with the relevant tag (#ad, #sponsored, #gifted or #paidpartnership) at the top of the relevant page or section, before any other content. Sponsored content does not change the editorial standards applied to any other content on this platform.

Current Status

As of this update, The Moxie Edit does not yet have any live affiliate partnerships or sponsored placements — no outbound product link on the Site currently earns a commission. This page is published in advance so the disclosure standard is set before any commercial link goes live, in line with UAE Media Council requirements that came into effect 1 February 2026.

How Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content Will Be Labelled

Once real affiliate or brand partnerships begin, this platform will label them clearly and individually, not just through this standalone disclosure page. In line with UAE Media Council rules for advertisers and content creators:

• Every affiliate product link will carry a visible "(affiliate link)" label next to it, not buried in a separate page.
• Any paid partnership, gifted product, or brand-sponsored feature will be labelled with one of the required tags — #ad, #sponsored, #gifted, or #paidpartnership — placed at the very start of the relevant page or post, before any "read more" or truncation point.
• Gifted products or complimentary services are disclosed the same way as paid ones, even when no money changes hands.
• The Moxie Edit will hold the required UAE trade licence activity and Advertiser Permit before any such content is published — not after.
